Spotlight on: Newnans Lake State Forest
Boasting a 6,000-acre lake, Newnans Lake State Forest is the dream location for kayakers and canoers alike. See beautiful trees like loblolly pine, bald cypress, oaks and red maples as you paddle through the still waters. Although there are no launch sites in the State Forest, you can launch at public facilities just outside the forest and paddle in.
