Safety is the cornerstone of the work of the Florida Forest Service. Whether it's in the suppression of wildland fires or the management of our state lands, we must always consciously work with safety as our No. 1 priority.
The Safety Office is responsible for researching, planning, designing, implementing, directing and evaluating statewide safety programs for the Florida Forest Service. The Safety Office also conducts systematic investigations and analysis of incidents involving Florida Forest Service personnel, programs and properties.
