Description:

Typical size is about 3 inches in diameter. Fruit has bright pink skin and tastes like a cross between a kiwi and a pear.

Handling and Storage:

Will keep on the counter for a few days. For longer-term storage, keep it in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. The fruit is most often eaten chilled and cut in half so the flesh may be spooned out.

Uses:

Fruit salads and smoothies. The juice is often used in frozen drinks.
