Description:

Typical size is 3 to 5 inches in diameter. Flesh is yellow to yellow-orange, creamy and sweet.

Handling and Storage:

Allow to ripen at room temperature until soft, about three to 10 days. Best eaten fresh or may be refrigerated one to two days.

Uses:

Use fresh and in ice cream and desserts.

Nutrition Information:

Good source of vitamin A and niacin. Fair source of vitamin C, calcium iron and phosphorus.
