Respiratory or nasal swabs in 3 ml of viral transport medium (VTM) or fresh lung; shipped chilled overnight. Samples accepted from feline, equine, porcine, canine and pinnipeds. Do not pool swabs.

Swabs must be received within 4 working days of collection. Use synthetic swabs with a plastic handle. Avoid cotton or calcium alginate swabs or swabs with wooden handles.

Tests run Tuesday and Friday.
