2 mL of equine serum in a serum separator tube (red top/tiger top) or other sterile tube and 2 mL whole blood in an EDTA tube (purple top); shipped chilled overnight. Serum is required for the ELISA test, EDTA blood is requested by the referral lab for test improvement process
