If you wish to trap feral swine and move them from the trapping location alive, you must register as a Feral Swine Dealer with the State Veterinarian's Office. A Feral Swine Dealer Card can be obtained by completing the online application. To transport feral swine on public highways, individuals transporting the animals must have their Feral Swine Dealer Identification Card with them. Additionally, the Feral Swine Dealer must have a written record regarding the animals being transported (see “Record-Keeping” above). This information must be presented to any law enforcement agency or authorized representative of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services when requested.
