$1 million has been appropriated for the Citrus Nursery Equipment Cost Share, which provides 80% cost share funding to citrus tree nurseries for purchase of new equipment that will reduce the cost of trees to growers.
Funds are provided to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) to provide 80% cost share funding to citrus tree nurseries for purchase of new equipment that will reduce the cost of trees to growers. To be eligible, a nursery must be in production, be located in this state, and provide a cost share of 20% of the costs to purchase the new equipment. Each request for funds must specify how much it will reduce the cost per tree to the grower.
Use the application below to submit a request for participation. Funding/reimbursement is capped at $200,000 per business.
